The Bartlett Acoustic Bass Guitar Mic is a mini condenser mic for amplifying the acoustic bass guitar with a warm, natural sound. Includes a rugged 8-ft cable, sound hole clip, and XLR connector. You'll be free to move around, and you'll get consistent sound from gig to gig.
It blends well with a pickup. The pickup adds definition, while the Acoustic Bass Guitar Mic adds fullness. I recommend that you mix the two and set the polarity on the mic to where you get the best sound. The Hosa GXX-195 can be used as a polarity reverser connector.
The mic is sensitive or "hot". If you hear distortion when using an amp, insert a mic attenuator between the mic and amp. Example: Pearstone IMA-1030..
