I received today your Bartlett Mandolin Mic for my Archtop Jazz guitar. I’ve just made my first test recording with it, and the sound is simply fabulous!
The sound is hyper-natural, as you told me when we spoke, and I’m really very surprised, because, until now, having tested many other solutions before getting your microphone, I’d never found such a magnificent and natural solution. I can now record easily, coupling the sound of your microphone, and, on another track, the sound of the guitar’s magnetic pickup directly into the Hi-Z input of my sound card.
I can then choose a mix between the two tracks, between the guitar’s magnetic pickup and the natural acoustic capture offered by your microphone.
